Prince Charles is, reportedly, in regular contact with his son, Prince Harry, who is currently based in Los Angeles since March. The Prince of Wales, apparently, provides continuous emotional and financial support to his youngest son, as well as Meghan Markle and Archie, despite the devastating revelations in the book, Finding Freedom.

According to an insider, no amount of story will rock the relationship of Prince Charles and Prince Harry. Apparently, the Prince of Wales does phone or video calls once a week with the Duke of Sussex but he is not a fan of text messaging.

The heir to the throne, reportedly, remains the voice of calm and reason for Prince Harry. The source said that, for Prince Charles, the door for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's return to their royal roles will always be open.

The father and son are, reportedly, similar in many ways when it comes to their feelings of conflict. There was a time Prince Charles also had to think long and hard about his duty to the Crown and what he could do as his own man.

The insider further added that Prince Charles doesn't see Finding Freedom as an obstacle despite Prince Harry and Meghan's criticisms and attack against the royal family. Many thought that this biography, which details the Sussex pair's rift and gripes, would mark the end of Prince Harry and Meghan's relationship with the royal family.

But, Prince Charles and Prince Harry, reportedly, don't talk much about the book, which will hit store shelves on Aug. 11. Instead, the Duke of Sussex has his father for his sounding board. Prince Charles, also, continues to help the couple out financially as they establish their new foundation, Archewell, and private income in Los Angeles.

Prince William and Kate Middleton, on the other hand, have apparently "grown cold" since excerpts of the book came out two weeks ago. Reports have it that Kate is "deeply upset" about the revelations in Finding Freedom, which suggested she didn't make an effort to be close to Meghan or to fix the rift between Prince Harry and Prince William.

Prince William, on the other hand, said that Finding Freedom is a way for Prince Harry to "control the narrative" to boost their entertainment contract. A source told Us Weekly that the Duke of Cambridge is not pleased with the biography.
