It looks like the long wait is finally over if the latest details about the game's announcement are to be believed.

Gaming studio Activision has been deliberately rolling out clues for the rumored "Call of Duty 2020." Based on the recent discovery by some of the popular content creators in the industry, a possible game announcement could happen on August 14. Several "Call of Duty" influencers and content creators earlier received slides and projectors, which reportedly contained clues about "Call of Duty: Black Ops 4."

Interestingly, each recipient got a different set of clues. In other words, everyone who got a package should work remotely together to solve the puzzle. Since they were able to solve it, fans now have a tentative August 14 "Call Of Duty 2020" possible announcement date. It turned out the clues discovered were connected to a chess match that happened in 1972 between Robert James Fischer and Boris Spassky.
