Gwen Stefani's three sons have no problem with their mother's longtime boyfriend Blake Shelton. The No Doubt frontwoman's sons are all big fans of the country singer and "look up" to him.
A source told Us Weekly Kingston, 14, Zuma, 11 and Apollo, six, respect Shelton as a father figure. The 44-year-old country singer is a "serious parental influence."
In an appearance on Today in September Stefani revealed her partner is a "good dad." Her children are from an earlier marriage to Gavin Rossdale.
Meanwhile, in a different interview with Today in July, Shelton opened up about his relationship with his girlfriend and her kids. The Voice judge admitted helping raise the boys was scary. It is a big thing for him to "be with the kids all the time and be their buddy." In another interview with Entertainment Tonight in December he credited the mother-of-three with changing his life.
Shelton revealed he didn't want to remember his life before Stefani. He admitted he was a jerk to everyone - but he is a nice guy now.
Stefani said Shelton has a significant effect on her life. The couple never expected they would find love with each other.
Stefani and Shelton first met on the set of The Voice. Since they became a couple she has convinced him to attend church regularly.
