Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received criticisms from netizens after they volunteered for Baby2Baby's recent charitable initiative. On Twitter, they called the couple's recent outing a "PR move," branding them as "tacky," according to the Daily Express.

The publication said that photographs of the Duke and Duchess, handing out "nappies, books, and clothes" to families, started to circulate on Wednesday. Despite the "act of kindness," it has since become "tainted" for some royal watchers after shocking allegations about their "act" have surfaced.

It, reportedly, appeared that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry brought a photographer with them to document their work. Reports said that photos all have a "Christian Monterrosa for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex" tag in it.

A royal fan-based account with the handle, "Royal Tea," shared on Twitter that Baby2Baby is one of the charities that most celebrities utilize in Los Angeles. The post noted, though, that the non-profit organization does "amazing" work.

The post described the Sussex couple's move as "savvy" and "transparent." However, it, also, branded them as "tacky" because they allegedly brought a photographer to their "volunteer opportunity." Many netizens agreed to the statements and responded that the post is "very well put."

Another royal fan account implied that the move was purely a "PR" on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's part because of the "HQ pics" and the "private photographer."

The charity event took place outside Know Elementary, in South Los Angeles. Most of the people who participated were, reportedly, "badly hit" by the economic crisis due to the pandemic.

Amid all the allegations, sources told publications that the kids, who received their books and supplies, as well as their families, were "in great spirits." The source, also, revealed that the Sussex couple just "did what they do best."

Aside from serving every child waiting in line, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, also, engaged with the families. They, reportedly, talked about the upcoming school year and wished everyone "good luck."

Following the charity event, the Duke and Duchess made a "rare" appearance from their new Santa Barbara home in a virtual call, according to People. They communicated with some of the leaders from the Queen's Commonwealth Trust, who are exerting efforts to change the digital scene for good.

The publication reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are "teaming up" with the young activists to execute the efforts. They, also, encouraged the leaders to continue their work in ending the "hate" and "negativity" that has spread all over the internet.
