Queen Elizabeth favors Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, among all the British Royals. Reports said that she has a "soft spot" for the couple, particularly toward her daughter-in-law.

Over the years, royal experts have concluded that they are the British Monarch's "favorite couple." Sources said that it is all because of their "soothing presence," according to the Daily Express.

A former royal equerry, reportedly, revealed that the Queen likes Sophie's presence because it calms her down. The source said that she always asks her son's wife for a "lift" to the church.

As explained, Queen Elizabeth prefers to be "completely calm" before going to church. With the Countess of Wessex's "soothing presence," this, reportedly, helps her to calm down.

Royal expert Robert Jobson previously, also, told The Telegraph that the Wessex couple often stays a while longer than the rest of the royal family during family gatherings. He added that the Countess is "very much" the Queen's favorite daughter-in-law.

Cheat Sheet added that the British Monarch has only two official daughters-in-law. Given that Prince Andrew did not remarry after Sarah, Duchess of York, she only has Sophie and Camilla.

Despite having only two daughters-in-law, royal aides asserted that the Queen favors the Countess, even among all her in-laws. This means that the list includes Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

Queen Elizabeth, reportedly, "trusts" and "relies on" Prince Edward's wife in a way that does not apply to the Duchesses of Cornwall, Cambridge, and Sussex. The sources said that she treats Sophie like "another daughter," and talks to her the way she used to do with Princess Margaret.

One possible reason behind this is that they, allegedly, share common interests. Reports said that the Queen and the Countess of Wessex both have fascinations over military history.

Prince Edward's wife, reportedly, loves listening to the British Monarch's stories about "great historical events." Source, then, added that they often spend time together for hours inside the Royal Archives, "pouring over ancient documents."

As for Queen Elizabeth's favorite son, though, Prince Edward places only behind Prince Andrew, according to a separate report from Cheat Sheet. He is, reportedly, the obvious choice given the royal-born Prince's background. Alongside the Queen, the Duke of York, also, "pleases" Prince Philip with his "enthusiasm" to serve the United Kingdom.

Among all the royal grandchildren, the British Monarch favors Peter Phillips the most. Reports said that everyone seemingly thinks of Prince Harry but, this is not the case based on the sources' revelations.
