Fans and supporters of Meghan Markle recently suggested that that Queen should lose her royal titles. The shocking suggestions come after several personalities called out the Duchess of Sussex and asked her to drop her royal titles because she, reportedly, "meddled" with politics.

Last week, the Duchess made virtual appearances to encourage the American public to exercise their rights to vote. As noted, the 2020 presidential election is now less than 70 days away.

Reports said that she guested and kicked off two online events where she talked about the importance of voting. While she did not mention the candidates' names, many people seemingly saw her meddling with political matters.

Forbes said that, while many praised Meghan Markle for her statements, "others were critical" of her, including Piers Morgan, David Kurten, and Julia Hartley-Brewer. The television personality, alongside the conservative London Assembly member, urged the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to lose their "Sussex titles." Meanwhile, the English pundit said that it is not "cancel culture," adding that the Duchess' latest move was a "breach of their employment contract.

Following all the criticisms, Finding Freedom's co-author Omid Scobie pointed out that Queen Elizabeth, also, made similar remarks as Meghan's in 2003, according to the Daily Express. She, reportedly, urged the Welsh people to vote and exercise their rights.

The publication said that Scobie outlined the events that happened back then. He noted that Queen Elizabeth encouraged the Britons due to the low turnout at local elections.

Netizens, especially the fans of Meghan Markle, shortly made remarks on social media, urging the British Monarch to be stripped off of her titles. They, reportedly, explained that the Duchess of Sussex's statements are very similar to the Queen's. So, if critics have urged the Sussexes to lose their titles, then Queen Elizabeth should, too.

Amid the puns, other netizens, however, argued that Meghan Markle's speech and status are far different from the Queen's. Some stated that she does not have the same "rights" as the head of the British Monarchy.

Several individuals, also, pointed out that the former Suits actress previously revealed her "dislike for Trump." Therefore, her recent "encouragements," reportedly, infer who she wants to vote for in the upcoming elections.

U.K. law does not prohibit British Royals to vote. However, Queen Elizabeth has to remain on "neutral" grounds when it comes to politics, to which all the royals have continued to follow.
