BLACKPINK broke the 500 million view mark for "How You Like That" after only two months.

According to a report by Soompi, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose's first pre-release single reached the 500 views milestone in only two months and 12 days. "How You Like That" is currently the fastest song from any Korean group to reach 500 million views. BLACKPINK also previously held the record for "Kill This Love."

It can be recalled that the MV for "How You Like That"  was released on June 26 and immediately drew huge crowds of viewers. On its first day alone, it amassed over 86 million views from fans who wanted to support BLACKPINK's comeback from a long hiatus.

"How You Like That" was BLACKPINK's seventh MV to reach 500 million views on the streaming platform. Other songs that reached the milestone were "DDU DU DDU DU," "As If It's Your Last," "BOOMBAYAH," "Kill This Love," "Playing with Fire," and "Whistle."

It was recently reported that BLACKPINK celebrated their second MV to reach 1 billion views. Their "Kill This Love" MV achieved the feat in only a year and four months. Their first video to reach the epic milestone was "DDU DU DDU DU," which now has 1.2 billion views.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's choreography for "Kill This Love" was awarded Favorite Music Choreography by the iHeartRadio Awards. The girls' long time choreographers Kyle Hanagami and Kiel Tutin received the honor, Soompi reported.

BLACKPINK is currently busy preparing for their final comeback of the year. Their first full album BLACKPINK: THE ALBUM is scheduled for an October 2 release this year.

Early reports of pre-sales indicate that unit sales can break the current record for Kpop girl groups. YG reported that 800,000 units have been ordered from album pre-selling with 530,000 orders coming from domestic fans and 270,000 coming from international fans, mainly from Europe and the US.

With 800,000 in album sales, BLACKPINK is poised to surpass the 23-year record of SES for their album Love. The album sold 760,000 copies at the height of the original Hallyu Wave, All Kpop reported.

BLACKPINK: THE ALBUM is anticipated by a lot of fans because this will be the first time for Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose to release a full album with 10 songs.

According to YG Entertainment, the girls spent over a year recording the songs to make sure that the fans will be satisfied with their new music.
