MBC released a trailer for the documentary about the life of late Kpop idol Sulli.

According to a report by Koreaboo, the network released a teaser for the documentary which is expected to shed light on some aspects of the late artist's life.

It can be recalled that last October, Sulli was found dead in her home. It was believed that she took her own life after succumbing to a lengthy barrage of criticism and malicious comments.

After her passing, a Sulli Bill was submitted to Korea's National Assembly to hold cyberbullies and malicious commenters accountable for their actions, SCMP reported.

The MBC documentary, which is entitled Why Was Sulli Uncomfortable?, seeks to showcase her life in the eyes of the people who knew her. The documentary is expected to include interviews with her family, friends, and co-workers at SM Entertainment.

Based on the trailer, the documentary will feature the early days of Sulli's career. The trailer showed clips of her audition take, practice videos, acting videos, and more.

It was also shown that Girls' Generation Tiffany, who was as close as a sister to Sulli, was also part of the documentary.

According to sources from MBC, the documentary is aimed as a tribute to Sulli as the first anniversary of her death approaches.

In a report by Zapzee, fans are hoping that the documentary will serve as a wake-up call to haters and bashers. They said that they hope that Sulli's documentary would open their eyes to the damage brought on by their hurtful words.

Some fans said the trailer alone made them cry as it brought about Sulli's positive spirit and courage amid public censure. They expressed hope that she found peace in the afterlife that she did not achieve while she was still among the living.

It can be recalled that Sulli debuted as a child actress for the drama Ballad of Seodong in 2005. She had her music debut as part of the girl group f(x) in 2009. She left the group six years later to concentrate on her acting career.

Sulli was best known for headlining the youth drama To The Beautiful You opposite labelmate Choi Minho in 2012. She also starred opposite Kim Soo Hyun for the film Real in 2017. Before her death, she took on a cameo role in IU's Hotel del Luna as a favor to her good friend.
