Justin Bieber recently gave a shoutout to BTS.

According to a report by Billboard, the Canadian superstar said that he completely understands why BTS' "Dynamite" is getting full airplay from radio stations and a huge amount of support from international fans.

The "Yummy" singer said that  the appeal of "Dynamite" is mainly due to the language that BTS used. "Dynamite" is in full English compared to their previous tracks that were in Korean.

He said that, traditionally, non-English songs have a harder time getting radio play in the U.S. This was probably the reason why BTS' previous hits were not given as much airtime as their latest comeback.

Bieber acknowledged that BTS deserved their record-breaking streak across the global music industry. He said, though, that fans should not expect BTS to suddenly do a full 360 and switch to a full English tracklist for their future albums.

He said this is because BTS previously underscored the value of staying true to their native tongue and identity.

It can be recalled that BTS previously expressed apprehension about releasing a full English track because the members wanted to stay loyal to their language and their music style. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, BTS members said that they wanted to find a way to reach out and spread positivity to the fans all over the world who may be suffering.

Members said that when they recorded the track, they liked how it sounded in English and they wanted to release it as soon as possible. In an interview with Teen Vogue, BTS said that they wanted to become flexible enough to accept challenges and adapt to unprecedented circumstances.

They said they remain committed to doing their best in making music and performing until the time that they meet ARMY again.

"Dynamite" is BTS' first English single and their most successful song in the U.S., so far.

In the past, BTS collaborated with Halsey, Steve Aoki, and The Chainsmokers. But, none of these collaborations have brought as much success as "Dynamite."

The track not only skyrocketed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, but it also broke music video premiere records. It was reported that 4 million fans tuned in to "Dynamite" at the time of its release on YouTube. Within a day, it recorded 101.1 million views on the streaming platform.

BTS is working on another album, which will be released later this year.
