BTS Jungkook proved that the "Jungkook Effect" is not exclusive to Korea. The BTS maknae caused the sales of milk to soar in the U.S. after his latest tweet.

According to a report by All Kpop, the U.S. milk industry reported a 1.62 percent spike in milk sales after the youngest BTS member tweeted about milk on his account.

The tweet featured part of his lines from the "Dynamite" music video where he was also seen taking a sip of milk and wiping off his milk 'stache. The popular celebrity campaign "Got Milk?" also capitalized on the clip and featured Jungkook in their latest post.

According to Trading Economics, there was a reported increase of 1.62 percent in milk sales that day. This was a breakthrough for the milk industry after suffering a yearly retrogression of -4.09 percent.

The spike in sales was attributed to Jungkook's effect on the market because milk also became the No. 1 related topic to the BTS member for the day.

Jungkook is well known for his strong influence on the fans. It can be recalled that, recently, a little known brand called "A NOTHING" reported a boost in its following after they posted Jungkook's photo wearing their merchandise on his birthday VLive broadcast.

The brand reported 8,000 new followers for their Instagram account immediately after they posted Jungkook's pic. The company said that it took them one year to gain 1,000 followers on the social media platform.

The brand now has 11,100 followers on Instagram, which is a 1,000 percent increase from its original 1,181 number of fans.

This was not the first time that Jungkook patronized products from a small company and helped them grow their market. Last year, the owner of a small sneaker company 23.65 posted a heartfelt letter to Jungkook and thanked him for wearing their brand.

He said that the company first sent sneakers to BTS back in 2017 and Jungkook wore them on stage for the first time. Two years later, even though BTS members were already superstars who had access to major brands, Jungkook was spotted again wearing 23.65 sneakers which a fan sent him as a gift, Koreaboo reported.

"Sold Out King" Jungkook also caused the site of a modern hanbok Zijangsa to crash last year after he was spotted wearing one of their outfits. The site crashed due to the volume of orders that flooded the brand.
