Time Magazine celebrates 100 of the most influential people on the planet annually. This year, the event will be broadcast live on American television for the first time. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to make an appearance in the TV show.

While many have been looking forward to Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” every year, some royal fans pledged to boycott the show because of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Many were not happy for them being there and decided to miss the segment.

“I know what I’ll be skipping,” one tweeted. “Thanks, I’ll pass on the whole mess,” another one wrote.

Each year, Time magazine publishes a list that includes artists, activists, and politicians. In this year's event, several famous people made an appearance, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making a fresh start in the U.S. after they officially withdrew from their senior royal roles at the end of March. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are trying to make a name for themselves outside the Royal Family.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have confirmed all the speculations that they are heading on the entertainment scene after their royal exit. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a mega-deal will Netflix, where they will be producing films, documentaries, and children programming.

Meghan Markle was an actress before she married Prince Harry in 2018. With an acting background, she and the Duke of Sussex heading to Tinseltown makes a lot of sense.

Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their withdrawal, the former actress gave everyone a taste of their possible future job by lending her voice to a Disney documentary titled Elephant back in August last year. A video also showed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with Bob Iger at the London premiere of The Lion King, where the pair hinted their interest in working with the Disney CEO.

A previous report claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are giving the “clearest sign” that they are no longer associated with the Royal Family. The couple mentioned in their withdrawal announcement that they wish to be “financially independent” and they are doing that now after signing a deal with Netflix.

ITV Royal Rota podcast hosts Chris Ship and Lizzie Robinson discussed the stark message of the couple’s financial independence. Lizzie said that a lot of people see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix deal and payment of Frogmore Cottage as a significant move, as it means that they have no ties with the Royal Family anymore. So, they are not coming back.
