Meghan Markle is reportedly plotting her appearances on TV and in video conference calls with carefully selected props that call attention. Despite expressing a need to be left alone, the Duchess of Sussex seems to be showing off more than what people expect.

Royally Obsessed podcasters Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito pointed out that Meghan Markle is obviously well-aware of the public's interest over her and Prince Harry. They think the Duchess of Sussex is picking out the stuff in her home that gets caught on camera when she's doing TV interviews and video conferences.

Fiorito said that those coffee table books displayed in the background were specifically placed to feed viewers' interest. Meghan and Harry own books like The Black Godfather, which is about Clarance Avant, and the National Geographic Image Collection by Annie Leibovitz.

The Sussexes also had Diptyque candles on their coffee table. This was Meghan's brand of choice for the diffusers used at St. George's Chapel during her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

The podcast hosts said that the items they saw on Meghan's TV appearances and videos fulfilled their "most voyeuristic needs and desires." They agreed that this might have been a harmless attention-seeking action for Meghan Markle but other royal commenters think drawing drama might be unwise and could even turn off the public.

The Telegraph cited that Harry and Meghan are the new Kardashians, the reality TV family who is immensely popular for their drama and controversies. The report compared Harry and Meghan to Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, whose lives are always in the papers.

Despite the "loads of nonsense," these reality TV stars keep grabbing the headlines. The article pointed out that Meghan is likely not surprised by the way stories about her and her husband are circulating, especially in the tabloids.

Meanwhile, Meghan's former partner on Suits, Patrick J. Adams, opened up on Radio Times that he's finding it very difficult to watch her friend's new life as a member of the royal family. The actor said that he wants people to leave his friend and her royal husband alone as they try to build a life together.

However, Adams also said that he is fearful of having to break through that wall around Meghan Markle today even though he knows she will not mind. Her high profile has been miles different from her life as a TV star barely five years ago.
