Donald Trump recently slammed the Food and Drug Administration's new guidelines for makers of COVID-19 vaccines. Amid the controversies surrounding the U.S. President and the so-called "Russia Hoax," he took the time to share his brief thoughts on the latest FDA's move.

On Twitter, Trump said that the new "rules" make it much "more difficult" for the institution to "speed up vaccines for approval" ahead of the Presidential Election this coming November 3. He added that this is another "political hit job," tagging the commissioner, Dr. Steve Hahn.

Following his "rant" on the platform, netizens were too quick to respond on the thread. Several individuals mocked and criticized him in different forms of posts.

Donald "Trump's on a roid rage tweet rampage, this is the funniest thing I've seen in awhile," one netizen said. "Roid Rage kicking in!," another stated, seemingly implying that the U.S. President is on steroids.

In other related tweets, "Steroids cause hormonal imbalances in the body that can lead to physical changes. Men can develop breasts and shrunken testicles," a critic posted. "So he's been on steroids for years!," a different Twitter user added.

While the mockeries about Trump's reported use of steroids continued on different conversation threads, other social media users slammed him for his acts amid the pandemic crisis, in general. "They're looking after American citizens. You're not," author Michael Marshall Smith tweeted. "No, these are the same rules that existed forever. They are just making sure you don't break them as part of your election ploy. They know you will try anything," one argued.

Meanwhile, some netizens showed their support for Donald Trump. Many of them even defended the U.S. President from his detractors on the platform.

"We will choose the best Man for the job! President Trump is strong yet graceful, like a beautiful dove with a diamond tipped beak. Smartest man! Unmatched wisdom. Going to solve all the world problems and anyone who doesn't love Him will be sent to eternal hellfire," Anthony Cornrod replied, with the word "MAGA" at the end of his post.

"Raise your hand if you're going to vote for Trump in 28 days," another netizen urged. "I love your strength and leadership!!," model Ana Braga added.

Donald Trump's post comes after the Food and Drug Administration "laid out" the new and updated safety measures for COVID-19 vaccines, according to USA Today. Based on the institution's website, vaccine makers must adhere to the two-month trials to "rule out safety issues."
