G-Dragon is not only known as the King of K-pop, but he’s also a fashion icon. The BIGBANG star had been a global ambassador for Chanel and was invited to the luxury brand’s events for years.
After the completion of his mandatory military service, G-Dragon kept a low profile. The BIGBANG star updates his fans on social media once in a while, but he has no active projects at all. It is worth noting that the YG Entertainment legendary group was supposed to perform at the 2020 Coachella, but was canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
G-Dragon has been a part of the industry since he was six years old, so his absence in the entertainment scene is a lot of getting used to. Finally, fans got to see the King of K-pop once again when he attended Chanel’s virtual private and exclusive screening for their S/S 2020 Runway in their flagship store at Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Known for breaking gender norms, G-Dragon wore pieces that many would perceive as feminine. The BIGBANG leader sported a luxurious Chanel black blazer over a rather casual striped tee. He then wore a pair of ripped and cuffed jeans with paint marks, showing off not just his fashion side but his creative side as well.
G-Dragon then accessorized his look with a pair of open-back black shoes, red socks, tinted sunglasses, pieces of jewelry, and a bonnet. He completed his ensemble with a small Chanel purse with a pearl strap. (Check out the photo here).
“Only G-Dragon can pull off that outfit,” a netizen commented. “He’s definitely from another world,“ one wrote. “No wonder he’s known as the human Chanel,” another one shared.
Meanwhile, another YG Entertainment artist and Chanel ambassador also graced the event. Jennie has been hailed the "it girl" of fashion and has worked with the luxury brand for quite a while.
Unlike G-Dragon, Jennie did not mix and match. The BLACKPINK star wore a two-piece ensemble from the Chanel collection. Wearing navy blue button-down long sleeves and skirt, Jennie looked absolutely beautiful. (Check out the photo here).
Jennie is not only getting a lot of attention for being a member of BLACKPINK but gets noticed for her style as well. In fact, the 24-year-old singer and rapper is dubbed as the female version of G-Dragon.
However, G-Dragon is not the only BIGBANG member that Jennie has something in common with. Many believed that her savage attitude resembles T.O.P’s.
