Fans will soon see One Piece Chapter 993 after the unexpected delay. Eiichiro Oda is, reportedly, getting better following the announcement of his poor health.

This only means the manga artist can now continue working for One Piece Chapter 993. So, what will happen from here?

The new installment will continue the talk between Luffy and X Drake. Previously, the former Marine rear admiral joined the alliance of the Straw Hat Pirates' founder after turning his back from the enemies.

On the first try, Luffy agreed when X Drake asked him if he could join his group. However, Franky and Jinbe refusedDevdiscourse noted.

The two seemed to doubt X Drake's real intention, knowing he came from the camp of the villains. He also used to be a longtime ally of Kaido.

The Queen and Who's Who are said to be on the loose to look for X Drake. Also known as the Red Flag, they are planning to kill him after he ran away from them.

So, X Drake may have left the enemy's side to save his life and finally leave Kaido and the rest of his team behind. To recall, X Drake asked Luffy if he could fight for them after Queen and Who's Who found out he betrayed them after freeing Law while he remained to be a captive in Kaido's turf.

Elsewhere, fans may see more of Carrot, Zoro, Law, Nami, and Jimbe on One Piece Chapter 993. The Onigashima battle is far from over, so readers will continue to see the war, too, Econo Times reported.

As there are predictions that Kaido is about to meet his demise here, it is a scene fans shall never miss. Fortunately, the new chapter is expected to be out this week.

Weekly Shonen Jump broke a lot of hearts after announcing the manga series' delay on Twitter due to Oda's poor health. At the time, One Piece Chapter 993 was about to be out in WSJ Issue #44, but the series creator had a sudden illness.

His sickness left him in a poor physical condition that he couldn't finish the manga series' new chapter, resulting in a delay. Anyhow, as he's recovered, he would resume the serialization in WSJ Issue #46.

The announcement concluded with a gratitude to fans for understanding what happened. After the two-week break, fans will finally see One Piece Chapter 993 on Sunday, Oct. 17, that can be read on VIZ Media for free.
