SM Entertainment recently released the designated emojis for all 23 members. To the delight of NCTzens, each member was identified by the label through a corresponding emoji that reflects a different facet of their appearance and personality.
According to SM, Taeyong could best be represented by a rose because of the rose-shaped scar underneath his eye. Taeil was assigned moon emoji because of his surname, Koreaboo reported.
Fans were not surprised to learn that the emoji that best represented Johnny was a cat because of his cat-like appearance. Ten is also represented by a cat because of his features.
Yuta is nicknamed Takoyaki King. So, the octopus emoji seemed like it was made especially for him. Another member who received an emoji based on his nickname was Doyoung. He received the rabbit emoji because of his pet name Bunny.
Jaemin is also represented by a rabbit, but for a different reason. He likes to do voice dubs of the rabbit character in A Secret Life of Pets.
Kun and Haechan are represented by a bear because of their soft and warm personality like a teddy bear. Winwin is described with a chick emoji because he was small, gentle, and fluffy.
Jaehyun is famous for his peachy soft complexion so it came as no surprise that he was best described by the peach symbol. Jungwoo's love for the character Snoopy earned him the dog emoji. Jeno shares the symbol with him because he reminds fans of two breeds of adorable dogs.
Lucas' lion tattoo made him perfect for the lion emoji. Mark was represented by another feline because his charm resembled that of a baby cheetah.
Xiaojun took on the sauropod symbol because he was called "Dinosaur" by his members. Ten was responsible for giving Hendery the nickname Donkey, so SM went with it and assigned him with the horse.
Renjun's wit and visuals are perfectly represented by the fox. Yanggang is represented by a sheep because the yang part of his name translates to sheep.
New member Shotaro is represented by a baby otter while Sungchan is represented with a deer because fans have been calling themselves Bambi.
Chenle's dolphin-like laughter is best represented by the animal and Jisung's chubby cheeks made SM assign him the hamster emoji.
