Melania Trump has become one of the most powerful women in the United States. But, despite her position and popularity, she remains to be one of the most enigmatic First Ladies, and if not the most.
It is not surprising why the media and public continue to look for answers about her past. The Daily Express, then, recalled an interview in 2016 when her ex-boyfriend shared several "stunning" revelations about the U.S. President's wife.
In an unearthed sit-down talk with Jure Zorcic, he told ABC News what the now-First Lady was like when they first met in Slovenia. He said that their brief romantic link started when she was 21.
Zorcic likened their first meeting to a movie. He recalled that it was a hot summer day, amid the wars in Slovenia. As he rode his motorbike, he, reportedly, saw Melania Trump (then Knauvs) walking down the street.
Upon seeing her, he shared that the young Knauvs' beauty seemingly captured him, causing him to turn back and follow her. He continued that he, later on, stopped his motorbike to talk to Melania and invited her for a coffee.
The First Lady's ex-boyfriend added that she was wearing "the most fashionable piece" he had ever seen. Reports said that the attire was a full-leather get-up.
Melania Trump and Jure Zorcic dated only for a few months. But, the latter explained that he was still in shock by his ex's beauty. He, also, described her as "classy" and "nicely dressed," adding that she had long hair with a very stunning style.
When talking about his ex-girlfriend's dreams and aspirations in life, he said that Melania always wanted to live outside Slovenia, particularly in Italy or France to live a fashionable life. However, it became a shock to him when she moved to New York as she did not, reportedly, plan to relocate to the "Big Apple."
Zorcic, later on, added that they had a reunion in 2000. However, instead of talking Slovenian, Melania Trump now speaks in English.
He asked her about this, whether she already forgot their mother country. The now-First Lady, reportedly, responded that she would no longer return to Slovenia.
Melania's ex-boyfriend, also, shared a few words about his ex's marriage to Donald Trump. Surprisingly, he stated that it was "fate."
Melania and Donald Trump met in 1998 at a party in New York. A few years later, the former accepted the latter's marriage proposal. They officially tied the knot in 2005 and has since lived their lives as husband and wife.
