Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 5 is coming this weekend on AMC, with the title "Honey." The upcoming episode will dive back into Dwight's (Austin Amelio) world. He is on a mission to take down Ginny (Colby Minifie) and he needs the help of a familiar face in order to do that.
According to the synopsis of Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 5, Dwight will team up with Sherry (Christine Evangelista). The two will be joining a mysterious faction of people, who are determined to bring Ginny down. Morgan Jones (Lennie James) offered to help them, but a power struggle follows.
Most of the characters reunited with Sherry after being apart for many years. While it was an emotional moment here, there's still a concern regarding her arrival. At the moment, it's unknown what happened to her during her time away with everyone.
Some things about her may have changed and she isn't entirely the same person anymore. She's been away for so long, so her journey and experiences may have turned her into someone else. Yet, it's apparent that she's willing to help the gang bring down the antagonistic leader of the Pioneer.
As Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 5 progresses, we're going to witness a few more surprises along the way. The mysterious faction of people mentioned in the synopsis was quite intriguing, though we know that a lot of factions out there are after Ginny.
Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 5 will also pick up the events in episode 5, focusing on John's (Garret Dillahunt) storyline. He doesn't want to see June (Jenna Elfman) anymore, though he knows that's not what he wants. He wrote a letter to her explaining why he chose to become a cop.
John is working as a Ranger in Lawton, and later on, he discovered that the budding sketch artist Cameron (Noah Kyle) is dead. He was devoured by the walkers after being tangled in his fence at home. John investigated the case and found an earring at the crime scene.
At the funeral, John revealed to Dakota (Zoe Colletti) that Janis (Holly Curran) tried to sneak out of Lawton and her bag contains missing earrings. Later on, Janis was put in prison but she confessed that she and Cameron were lovers.
The two were afraid Ginny would find out about their relationship, that's why they decided to leave Lawton. Janis believes the Pioneer leader framed her. After a while, John went to confront Ginny about what happened, and the latter revealed she has read his letters to June.
John further investigates Cameron's death and digs up his body. He discovered that the man died from a slit throat. He confirmed that Janis wasn't the killer, so he tried to free her before her execution. However, she was killed by Ginny. The next day, the Pioneer leader shows up at John's door.
Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 5 airs on Sunday, Nov. 8, on AMC.
