Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 2 is coming this weekend on AMC. The premiere mostly focused on Lennie James' Morgan, particularly his near-death experience. He found a way to get out of his dangerous situation and there could be a huge reunion moving forward.

Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 2 picks up the events that happened in the premiere. Most of Morgan's friends are locked in Virginia's (Colby Minifie) so-called "community." They were given certain tasks and were forced to bend to her will.

Virginia is in a desperate state at the moment. She is willing to do whatever she can to take on Morgan. She thought that she could literally have his head and cut it off, but that didn't happen. He's still out there and planning for his next move.

Now, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Strand (Colman Domingo) are the primary focus of Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 2. Virginia forces the two to clear an unusual walker threat. They encounter a new ally along the way, giving Strand an idea that could be the key to their freedom.

The real goal of the series is to give fans more character-focused plots, along with zombie gore and violence. The season is on its early run, so it's hard to predict what else is coming for everyone. The only thing that's clear for now is that Virginia is the Big Bad.

Aside from this storyline, this week's episode may also explore the mystery of a beached submarine. This was shown in the premiere and raised a lot of questions. What's ominous here is that there's a message sprayed on it: "The end is the beginning."

Meanwhile, Debnam-Carey previously talked about the future of her character, Alicia. In a previous interview with Decider, the actress described what her character's story is going to look like. She said that it's not just about trying to survive but surviving Virginia's world, as well.

Debnam-Carey noted that it's quite sinister and quite calculative. This is a big, defining fact for Alicia and also for the current installment. It's nice to see the character in a reasonably comfortable place since she hasn't had that for a long time. She's in a different world than what was seen in the pilot.

Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 2 airs on Sunday, Oct. 18, on AMC.
