One of the biggest questions entering Fear the Walking Dead season 6 is whether Lennie James' Morgan Jones is dead or alive. The season 5 finale left the character's fate in question, with some speculating he may not make it until the end.

Yet, Fear the Walking Dead season 6 has been sharing a lot of details about Morgan, which seemingly confirms he survived his predicament. For instance, the latest key art of the series features the character, along with the tagline "The Past Is Dead."

The photo alone suggests that Morgan managed to find a way to escape and save himself from all the dangers around him. The character was left for dead in season 5 finale, leaving most viewers wondering how he'll survive and get through the situation.

Perhaps, someone comes along the way and this person helped Morgan get out of his current situation. But, one of the main questions here is who's willing to lend a hand and rescue him. His whereabouts remain unknown, so others may have a hard time finding him. There is, also, a question of how he's going to recover from everything that he's been through.

But, even though his life is on the line, Morgan could make it out alive in Fear the Walking Dead season 6. Considering some recent teases and with James being present on the series' official panel, there is a huge possibility he survives his dangerous situation.

In addition, James teased what lies ahead for his character in Fear the Walking Dead season 6. He told Digital Spy that whatever happens in the story won't go the way everything things it may go. He hinted that this particular installment would a big one for Morgan.

Also, the actor noted the episodes of the new season are slightly different in shade and color. The series could cover a longer or shorter period of time, depending on where the story is heading. Moreover, the storytelling would not be linear as it has been in the past.

But, aside from focusing on Morgan's story, the upcoming installment will continue to deliver a lot of intense battles. For instance, the teaser hinted that most of the characters were stranded at Ginny's empire, leaving some of them in danger. The group tried to be helpful, but their efforts led them to nowhere good.

Fear the Walking Dead season 6 premieres on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, on AMC.
