BLACKPINK treats each more like a family than a group. And just like any regular family members out there, Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa love teasing each other as well.
While respecting the older ones is very important in South Korea, Jisoo lets her younger members get away with their silly antics. The 25-year-old singer and actress knows that the maknae line loves her very much and just enjoys teasing her.
During BLACKPINK’s recent Twitter Blueroom LIVE, Rose and Lisa did what they do best — and that is to tease the oldest member of the group. The girls were asked to show their BLACK (fierce) side and PINK (cute) side.
When Jisoo did her “fierce” expression, the maknae line was not a fan of it. Rose even commented that she looked like that “thing” from the movie Aliens. Jisoo admitted that she hasn’t seen the movie but demanded an apology from her member while laughing at the same time. “I didn’t watch it, but you better say sorry to me!” she said.
Of course, the youngest member Lisa didn’t want to end the moment without expressing her thoughts about Jisoo’s “fierce” side as well. The 23-year-old singer and dancer added that the Snowdrop star looked like a “zombie rabbit.” This brutal comparison prompted the other girls, including Jisoo, to laugh out loud.
This is certainly not the first time Lisa made fun of Jisoo during an interview. BLACKPINK previously sat for an interview with YouTube channel The Swoon. One of the questions was who among them snacks the most.
Jisoo chose Lisa, Rose chose Jisoo and Jennie, and Lisa chose Rose. The girls then explained their choices.
Rose revealed that the reason why she picked Jisoo as the member who snacks the most is that she always sees her drinking milk, such as banana milk and coffee milk. She added that, when she talked to Jisoo for ten minutes, the latter had "three different types of milk" with her.
Jisoo explained that the reason why she drinks a lot of milk is that she wants to grow taller. The idol stands at 162cm. (5’4”), making her the shortest BLACKPINK member.
Standing at 166cm. (5'5"), Lisa found an opportunity to mock Jisoo's height. The maknae said that her height "has already stopped growing.” Jisoo quickly contradicted Lisa and said, “Hey! Not yet!”
