Former Ferrari boss Jean Todt confirmed he visits Michael Schumacher on regular basis and the last call seemed better than the previous ones. While the FIA president shared but a few words on Schumacher's health status, he dropped clues that the German is showing signs of improvements.

Schumacher figured in a skiing accident in December 2013 and suffered a brain injury. But more than six years, details about the seven-time driving champion have been scarce. His family has elected to keep silent about Schumacher's health struggles and his friends are doing the same.

Todt has been saying in the past that his interactions with Schumacher are private matters. Whenever asked how the racing champ was doing, the Frenchman's answer has been consistent: Schumacher is fighting to recover from his condition.

However, the FIA chief's last visit appeared to be more encouraging. Todt claimed he's had some light activities with the stricken Schumacher.

"I see Michael regularly. We watch TV together," Todt said, and per the story published by The Sports Rush, citing the news reports from German media.

Unsurprisingly though, Schumacher's friend stopped short of saying that the former racing driving is doing better than before. Todt could only offer that doctors and family members are making sure that Schumacher is getting the best of help on his fight to full recovery.

Again, Todt kept his silence when it's about Schumacher's specific health details, which he said is in respect to the Schumacher family's privacy.

While car racing fans remain interested in Schumacher's health updates, they are also glued on the latest ongoings in the Formula One race tracks. Presently, the racing world is gripped by the recent achievements of Lewis Hamilton, who surpassed the German's long-standing record.

Hamilton is continuing his winning run and the debate now rages on who is the greatest in the F1 racing circuit. According to CNN, Schumacher was the definitive benchmark before Hamilton emerged but the German stopped racing a long time ago.

It took a while before Hamilton overtook Schumacher but the Briton is proving he can achieve greater things, and his run is only seen to continue for years to come.

Schumacher was considered the GOAT before Hamilton happened, and the latter is in a strong position to challenge for the honor. CNN noted that Schumacher retired at 43 and at 35 years old, Hamilton is showing no signs of slowing down.

Hamilton will continue racing and further improve on his status. He will most likely catch up on Schumacher but the GOAT question will only get a clear answer in the few years to come when his record offers a stronger argument to claim the title.
