Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, are reportedly likely moving back to Birkhall, their home in Scotland, to spend the second nationwide lockdown at the highlands. The U.K. government has imposed another temporary closure of non-essential businesses amid the rise of coronavirus cases in the country.

The lockdown will take place beginning Thursday, Nov. 5, and will last for one month. According to Daily Express, Prince Charles and Camilla are still at Clarence Hall in London as of press time but they will reconsider relocating.

Clarence House has not yet confirmed the plans of the Prince of Wales and his wife. However, it was in Birkhall where Prince Charles and Camilla spent the first lockdown in March. It is also where Prince Charles recovered from his COVID-19 symptoms.

The mansion, which Prince Charles inherited from the Queen Mother, has over 53,000 acres of space thus it's ideal for social distancing. It also near the Queen's Balmoral estate but Prince Charles' mother will not be in the highlands during this period.

According to People, Queen Elizabeth visited her husband, Prince Philip, at his Wood Farm estate in Sandringham over the weekend. The elderly couple moved back together at Windsor Castle for the second lockdown. The Queen and Prince Philip have also chosen to stay in Windsor at the beginning of March and briefly separated houses in early October.

With this new arrangement, this means that the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will be celebrating their 73rd anniversary together on Nov. 20. Last year, the Queen was miles apart from her husband on their anniversary since she was attending to her royal duties in London while Prince Philip was at his retirement estate.

Meanwhile, a few days before the nationwide lockdown, the Prince of Wales was still working on the launch of his new organic gin line, which has ingredients grown from his garden at Highgrove. The drink took months to develop and perfect using main ingredients like juniper, lemon verbena, rosemary, thyme, citrus, and other herbal botanicals.

Daily Mail reported that Prince Charles collaborated with Cory Mason, a master distiller at the Oxford Artisan Distillery, for this special drink. The new product will be sold at Fortnum & Mason and its proceeds will go to charity.

It is expected that Prince Charles and Camilla will continue with their work virtually for the next four weeks. During the first lockdown, the couple did several video conferences with their charities as well.
