Queen Elizabeth will never consider reinstating Prince Andrew back to his royal roles for as long as he hasn't cleared his name in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Two royal commentators discussed how the Duke of York could potentially return and agreed that it would be bad for the royal family.

Chris Ship and Lizzie Robinson of the Royal Rota on ITV talked about the speculations that Prince Andrew is preparing to make a comeback. Ship said he doesn't think that the Queen and the senior members of the royal family are even considering the idea of allowing the return of the Duke of York.

Robinson said that Prince Andrew needs to clear things up with the FBI first before he comes back to public life. Otherwise, this issue about Epstein's sex trafficking scandal will continue to be a distraction, which will make him ineffective at his job.

Ship agreed and said that Prince Andrew needs to resolve his legal issues first. Short of suggesting that the royal has to speak with the FBI, Ship said that Prince Andrew should have total exoneration before he can resume his royal duties.

The news comes as Prince Andrew has reportedly been visiting his mother in secret at Windsor Castle. Apparently, the Queen's second son "sneaked" in Tuesday and made an effort not to be seen by the people amid a coronavirus bubble.

Speculations are that the royal is convincing his mother to let him back into The Firm. Prince Andrew apparently believes that he can still support the monarchy, despite the scandal hovering over him.

Prince Andrew has Mark Gallagher, the PR specialist, helping him with his image rehabilitation. However, sources said that it would be better for the royal family if stays away from the spotlight while everyone else works.

Sources also revealed to Daily Mirror that Prince Andrew should stop the illusion that he could come back to public service. Members of the royal family will not support such a move, especially Prince Charles and Prince William, despite getting the Queen's sympathy.

From the beginning of this controversy, Prince William apparently didn't agree with his uncle's train wreck of an interview with BBC. In it, the Duke of York denied knowing or meeting the woman who claimed they had intimate relations when she was underage because she worked for Epstein.

Prince Andrew also said that he will cooperate with the FBI in the Epstein case. However, nearly a year has passed and the American authorities have yet to speak with the royal to give clarity to the victims of Epstein.
