Run BTS! is a variety show that became a weekly obsession of ARMYs for years. Aside from RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s fun activities in each episode, the editors' captions and comments take everything to a whole new level.

J-Hope’s real name is Jung Hoseok, but he is fondly called Hobi by his members, ARMYs, and staff. In Run BTS! Episode 114, ARMYs went wild after the editors called him one particular name.

Run BTS! editors called J-Hope “Min Hobi” in the captions. Instead of writing Jung, they put Suga’s last name. The “Daechwita” rapper’s real name is Min Yoongi.

While the caption made a lot of ARMYs’ jaws drop, it actually made a lot of sense. You see, J-Hope was rapping Suga’s part in “Boy With Luv” when the Run BTS! editors called him “Min Hobi.”

Run BTS! editors are known as Sope (Suga and J-Hope) shippers, but fans are still shocked by how bold they are for writing that caption. “The Run editors hint to Sope so often that I’m actually starting to believe something is going on between them,” one wrote. “This means Sope is married,” another one shared.

While Sope is not the most popular ship in BTS or the K-pop world, fans have noticed how pure and genuine their chemistry is. Even RM mixed Sope’s names. This time, however, he called Suga with J-Hope’s last name. When the BTS leader was doing the fan chant in an interview abroad, he mistakenly called Suga, “Jung Yoongi.”

“Joon called Yoongi ‘Jung Yoongi' and now Run editors said ‘Min Hobi' this can mean only one thing - SOPE MARRIED,” an ARMY tweeted.

Meanwhile, in the behind-the-scenes of one of the recent episodes of Run BTS!, the staff wrote: “I hear that Suga adores Hobi very much” in a paper for the boys to decide if the grammar is correct or not.

Aside from Run BTS! staff, BANGTANTV editors also appear to be Sope enthusiasts. On June 10, a fun Karaoke for FESTA 2020 called Map of the Song: 7 was uploaded on YouTube.

The members were divided into units, and not surprisingly, Suga and J-Hope were paired together. After singing their hearts out in the Karaoke booth, the rappers picked from the lucky draw board to claim their prize. When the pair picked each other’s photocards, BANGTANTV editors added the caption “SOPE is true.”
