ARMY is not just a fandom, it’s a group of detectives. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have trained the fans to always keep their eyes peeled every time they release something and appear somewhere.

In the recent episode of Run BTS!, Jungkook gave ARMYs a new mystery to solve. However, this mystery has nothing to do with their upcoming album or a solo activity. This mystery is much more personal.

Jungkook has been sporting a couple of tattoos on his arm for over a year now. The very first time the public spotted his ink was in September of last year.

It was first assumed that Jungkook’s tattoos were fake. While body ink is not illegal in South Korea, it is not openly accepted and is considered to be quite controversial.

With Jungkook being a member of the biggest boy group on the planet right now, many believed that he would not do anything to jeopardize their career by having ink done — but he did. ARMYs eventually realized that the “My Time” singer’s tattoos are real, and they accepted his decision full-heartedly.

Now, Jungkook has added more tattoos to his collection. In Run BTS! Episode 114, eagle-eyed ARMYs noticed that one of his tattoos looked different. It seemed like the BTS star had covered up a previous ink, which was writing beneath a shaded flower.

Even though ARMYs tried to zoom the shot where Jungkook lifted his hands into the air, they still couldn’t fully confirm what his tattoo is. Some say it could be lungs, tree branches, or even a butterfly.

Jungkook’s tattoos are mostly covered up by Big Hit Entertainment staff during their appearances by making him wear long-sleeved outfits. But international ARMYs have been urging the BTS star to show them.

RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have repeatedly reminded ARMYs to love themselves. Now, the fans are returning the favor, and the golden maknae to practice what they preach — and he’s slowly doing just that.

Jungkook was spotted numerous times wearing short-sleeve shirts when he used to cover his tattoos by wearing sweaters and even a glove. But when the BTS star does wear a long-sleeved top, he is not worried anymore when his tattoos are peeking out.

Because of Jungkook's new-found confidence in showing off his tattoos, ARMYs are very happy and proud of him.
