Apple fans who placed an order on November 6 for the new iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 Pro Max may get their handsets a bit early.

The features of Apple's new flagship phone amazed a lot of people when the Cupertino-based tech giant unveiled the iPhone 12 family on October 13 during the company's "Hi, Speed" event. Many of them immediately preordered the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro on October 16 and received their units on October 23, while some waited until November 6 to preorder their iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini, which they are set to receive after a week or more. It turns out they need not wait for long as Apple shipped their iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max ahead of its release date, making it possible for them to receive their handsets earlier than expected.

According to reports, some Apple iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max customers who preordered the handsets on November 6 saw their purchases already complete with shipping information, indicating their new mobiles are on the way. Although the phones may likely reach the customers on or after its November 13 release schedule, it is also possible that actual deliveries may happen a day or two before the scheduled release. The latter scenario is likely since the Cupertino company shipped the orders ahead of the release date.

Unlike the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro which opened for preorders a few days after the unveiling of the iPhone 12 family, Apple opened the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max for preorders only on November 6. Customers placed their orders online through the Apple Store. While both the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 12 Pro Max are set for release late next week, those who placed their preorders on November 6 may receive their phones earlier than expected as Apple reportedly shipped them out ahead of their release date.

Aside from customers reporting that their iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max phones, which they ordered on November 6, are set to arrive sooner than expected, some say that their order status shows the handsets are on-process for a November 13 delivery date. While this does not mean that customers may receive their phones ahead of their release date or scheduled deliveries, since Apple normally works to make sure early deliveries are not likely to happen, it can still happen.

If you also placed your iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 Pro Max on November 6 and would like to know the estimated time of arrival, you can check your order status on the UPS Website. While your handsets may be delivered ahead of their release date, the likelihood may be slim given Apple's penchant for ensuring the handsets are not delivered ahead of its release.
