Logan Paul is looking for another fight with a big name. The YouTuber is seeking redemption after losing his rematch with fellow KSI (Olajide Olatunji) in November of 2019. Based on the recent social media exchange, there is a chance that this showdown will finally go down and happen by December.
The camp of Paul approached Mayweather back in September to possibly set up an exhibition match. That never gained ground but it appears something is brewing with the 25-year-old firing the opening salvo.
Paul spoke to TMZ Sports recently and gloated how he could hand the undefeated and retired American boxer with one good punch. Originally hinting that he was looking to have a street fight with Mayweather, Paul now says he would not mind if both of them faced off in the ring.

“If I caught Floyd with one punch — one punch — I would snap this f**ker in half,” Paul said.
That may have upped the stakes a bit with some believing Paul may have pushed his luck too far. Also, Mayweather took offense to the vicious verbal invectives made by the YouTuber and appears to be ready to get it on. Mayweather made the following response via his Twitter account.
“These YouTube girls better find some Barbie dolls to play with cause I’m not the one for the kid games. 3 years ago a fighter from the UFC said my name and I had to put a muzzle on that bitch. [Logan Paul] can get the same treatment before I go conquer Japan again,” Mayweather tweeted.
Seeing how the past months made no mention of a possible fight, the recent social media exchange has left the impression that the two personalities are trying to hype a fight in December. Mayweather hardly reacts to bashing so some feel that something is brewing.
If it turns out to be a boxing match, Mayweather will undoubtedly still hold the edge. Paul has two fights under his belt. His first encounter with KSI ended up in a majority draw. In the rematch, he lost via split decision.
Mayweather has plans of fighting again but it will be an exhibition fight. The word out is that it will be held in Japan and that it will go down in February 2021.
The many time boxing champion could use Paul as a warmup fight to prepare him for that clash. Right now, there is no word on the state of conditioning Mayweather is in. That could play an important role in figuring out if a Mayweather vs. Paul match will happen in December or January 2021.
