For instance, Bar Paly is returning as Anna Kolcheck in NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 episode 4. Fans will get the chance to see more of her spending time with G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell). It has been already teased that the two will have an interesting storyline in the latest installment, in which Anna isn't on the run.
The two may think about the life they wanted to build together now that they reunited. Anna's return is also an indication the series will deliver more personal stories about Callen -- beyond just the action. It would show O'Donnell's character is away from his job.
It's nice to see both Callen and Anna spending time together, and something that doesn't involve certain missions. In addition to Paly's return, NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 episode 4 will also see Marsha Thomason coming back as Nicole DeChamps, another established recurring character.
But aside from bringing back some familiar faces, the upcoming episode delivers another case for the team. Thieves found the murdered body of a Navy reservist in the middle of a robbery. Now, the team needs to work with the burglars in order to find the killer and solve the case.
Moreover, the fourth episode will continue to follow Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks' (Eric Christian Olsen) storyline, wherein they still contemplating their future. The married couple struggles whether or not they're ready to take a leap and buy a new house.
Even though there is no new episode coming this weekend, fans will see another episode after NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 episode 4 is done airing. The series drops back-to-back installment, with episode 5 focusing on a dangerous story involving Kensi.
The title is "Raising the Dead," which is a reference to someone in Kensi's past. This person is a sociopath and extremely dangerous, who becomes obsessed with her after she puts him in jail years ago. Now, the two come face-to-face as Ruah's character needs to get inter regarding national security.
NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 episode 4 airs on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 8 PM EST/ 7 PM CST, followed by episode 5 at 9 PM EST/ 8 PM on CBS.
