Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi face new split rumors amid their relocation to a new home. Following the reports' coverage about their new property, tabloids have since created narratives alleging that the couple is experiencing "strains" in their marriage.

Gossip Cop released a report about the matter, explaining the truth behind Woman's Day's allegations. This comes after the tabloid claimed that DeGeneres was "packing her bags" as she was moving out of her home due to relationship problems.

An unnamed source told the outlet that the marriage appears to be at its "breaking point." Moreover, the celebrity host looked "downcast" upon taking her belongings from their Montecito home.

The tabloid continued that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's supposed breakup revolved around the selling of their home. Sources, then, claimed that the celebrity's tumultuous year, following the "toxic workplace" allegations toward The Ellen Show, was what caused the strain in her marriage. They are, reportedly, "drifting apart" as the public continues to question DeGeneres' character.

Gossip Cop countered all the claims, clarifying that the talk show host did not move out of their home due to marriage problems. She was collecting her things because she and her wife were relocating to their new home.

The reputed publication explained that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi recently purchased a new home, which Dennis Miller owned in the past. They sold their Montecito estate for $45 million and bought Miller's old home for $49 million. Hence, it makes total sense why she was collecting her belongings.

Variety released a report about the matter, including even the history of the couple's property purchases in the last few years. Later on, other reports noted that their new property is close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Santa Barbara home, making them new neighbors.

Following all the evidence, Gossip Cop said that the allegations about DeGeneres and Portia are "false." Moreover, it, also, called out the outlet for its continued false reporting about celebrity couples.

Insider previously released the timeline of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's relationship. This seemingly appears to be another proof that the couple has remained committed to their relationship for over ten years.

The pair first met in 2000 and has since maintained their ties. They celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary in 2018 and even publicized their affection toward each other on social media.

Amid DeGeneres' challenges this year, de Rossi "stood" by her wife and publicly defended her, alongside other celebrities. The Scandal actress, then, shared in a video earlier in August that they are okay and Ellen DeGeneres is "doing great."
