Jill Biden "gives back" to the public following her husband's victory in this year's presidential race. She made her first appearance on Thursday to help volunteers at Operation Gratitude's latest effort.

The non-profit organization organized 20,000 "care packages" for the U.S. Troops who will be out of their homes to serve this holiday season. People reported that the incoming First Lady helped assemble the packages, which contain candies, snacks, handwritten letters of gratitude, and scarves.

Retired General Lloyd Austin joined Biden in the effort. They both wore gloves and face masks while helping with the assembly.

Operation Gratitude's official social media accounts shared a live video showing Jill Biden, alongside the volunteers helping with the packages. The incoming First Lady, later on, thanked the organization on Twitter for letting them "join" in the effort.

She, also, noted how "small acts of kindness" could mean so much, especially to the U.S. Troops at this time of the year. In the post, she included a photo of herself together with some of the care packages.

Netizens were too quick to share their praise and compliments toward Jill Biden on the platform. Several fans and supporters highly commended her for the effort, as well as the "kindness" she did for the public.

"We have a [First Lady] that cares," one follower said, adding that the public is "happy" about it. Everyone is "so happy" that you will become the First Lady, another fan echoed in the comment section.

You are the First Lady that the public "can be proud of," a different Twitter user tweeted. You are a "real First Lady" who has "compassion and a heart," one netizen replied with a note, "Welcome Mrs. Biden."

The praises and compliments overflowed in the comment section of the post. Surprisingly, there are no negative remarks and sarcastic comments to slam the incoming First Lady.

The case is different, however, on Melania Trump's side. Like Jill Biden, the outgoing First Lady posted about the East Wing's campaign, Be Best, and touted its latest efforts with the help of the public.

She, also, mentioned "kindness," as well as the first-grade teacher, Jenn Horton's fundraising activity of restaurant workers. Although it is, indeed, an effort to celebrate, critics slammed and mocked her on the same platform.

"Are you kidding" about kindness, one netizen stated. "Who gives a f*** about Be Best," another Twitter user added.

"Pack up" your bags now, one critic urged her, seemingly implying that she and Donald Trump need to exit now. "Be Best is not grammatically correct," a different netizen quipped.
