"Cyberpunk 2077" features lots of missions and side quests that reward players. In the game's main story quest titled The Pickup, players would see an optional challenge to free Brick. They need to find out where the character is and figure out a way to set him free.

Where is Brick in "Cyberpunk 2077"

Brick was demoted to cage duty and he is stuck in a cell where players once tried to escape from All Foods with the robot. Players would come to an area with several doors and a room that appears like a lab. If they walk close enough to one of the locked doors, Brick will begin yelling, asking players to get him out.

How to Free Brick in "Cyberpunk 2077"

Brick is inside a room that comes with a keypad outside. Players need to find the code for the keypad to free Brick. Fortunately, the code could be found nearby. It is in a room just to the right of Brick's containment cell.

"Cyberpunk 2077" players would find a laptop that they could interact with. They just need to open the Messages folder and choose the bottom message, which states "only you guy know." This message offers a hint on why Brick is stuck in the cage and it also contains the keypad code. The code to free Brick is 9691.

As soon as players open the door, they would realize that Brick is not totally free just yet. There is a mine with a laser pointing to his chest directly. Should Brick move from his current position, this will detonate automatically.

The best way for players to solve this is to disable it themselves. It would require Technical Ability attribute points, so not all players would be able to do it. Players lacking the needed technical Ability could simply look for a detonator. It is in the same room where the laptop is located and would be easy to see since it is on the table.

"Cyberpunk 2077" players should pick up the detonator and choose Disarm Charge to disable the mine. Players could also select Set Off Charge, but it could blow Brick up, which means the mission fails. As soon as the mine is disabled, Brick is totally free. Players could tell him that he owes them his life and he would promise to help in the future.

"Cyberpunk 2077" is now playable on PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4 and PS5.
