The popular multiplayer social deduction title "Among Us" is already a challenging game. Interestingly, several players created the mini-game Slasher Mode to raise the excitement level a notch. Here are some of the tips and tricks on how to set up and play the Slasher mini-game.

"Among Us" Slasher Mode Settings

Just like any other mini-games within "Among Us," players need to change some settings in the game to enjoy the Slasher mode. For Impostors, players should set it to 2 if there are more than eight players in a lobby. Confirm Ejects, Anonymous Votes, and Visual Tasks should be turned off. Meanwhile, players should set Common Tasks and Emergency Meetings to 1.

Players Should also set the game's Discussion Time to 15 seconds, Crewmate Vision to 1x, Impostor Vision to 1.5x, and Player Speed to 1.5x. Meanwhile, "Among Us" players should set Voting Time to 120 seconds, Kill Cooldown set to 27.5 seconds and Kill Distance set to Short. The game's Long Tasks should be set to 3, while Short Tasks should be set to 2. But, like all other mini-games, players could experiment and customize this setting to see which works best for the group.

"Among Us" Slasher Mode" Rules

"Among Us" players should take note that similar to other custom mini-games, they must play the Slasher Mode with family and close friends and refrain from inviting random strangers on the internet. This mode entails a high level of cooperation among players and one who could not follow the rules or modify the game's settings could be a huge problem. Also, since the Slasher mode does not support the game's format, so all players must agree and follow the house rules.

How To Play Slasher Mode In "Among Us"

In Slasher mode, Impostors have all the attention, and they have to kill all the crewmates before the crewmates accomplish all their tasks. Crewmates are not allowed to vote the Impostors out in the game, and they must avoid Impostors and complete their tasks as quickly as they can. In Slasher Mode, the game transforms from social deduction to survival.

Unlike in other customized mini-games in "Among Us," Impostors can sabotage the whole map but are not allowed to lock doors and are restricted to vent-kill. Crewmates are permitted to fix sabotages in the game. Killed crewmates or Ghosts are not allowed to speak at meetings. Additionally, they could not disclose the position of any Impostors.

"Among Us" is currently playable on PC, iOS and Android devices.
