Xiao, a popular character from the early pioneer test of "Genshin Impact," could arrive in the early part of 2021. Here is everything leaked about the Xiao banner, including its release date and other details.

The latest information about the Xiao Banner came from "Genshin Impact" insider NEP NEP. According to him, the five-star Anemo polearm character would be available in the popular gacha game starting Feb. 24. Along with Xiao, the said banner would also feature the four-star character Yaoyao.

She is a Dendro-Catalyst-wielder and could be the first playable character of the game's update 1.3. Mimiko and WeiWei might also be introduced in might be in a different banner and could arrive on Feb. 3. The insider, however, cautioned that WeiWei might be a mistranslation. It appears that Mimiko is a four-star Anemo mage.

The "Genshin Impact" insider said that fans should take this latest set of information with a pinch of salt. At this point, character development in the game is still an ongoing process. In other words, there is a great chance that there might be changes before these leaked characters arrive in "Genshin Impact" sometime in February 2021.

Meanwhile, the Lantern Festival or Festival of Lights has been in the game's beta and many fans assume that it might arriver in February or March next year. There are speculations that the rumored Xiao banner might drop just before the event goes live. Xiao was anticipated to be a festival feature, so it is likely that he might be featured in "Genshin Impact" ahead of the game's major event.

Apart from the Xiao, fans heard earlier that Albedo, Ganyu and other characters are arriving in the game very soon. Aside from their existence in the "Genshin Impact" beta, these characters have been leaked for some time now. There are no official release dates for these characters yet.
