miHoYo confirmed that it is planning to make "Genshin Impact" players much happier in the coming days because of the wide range of freebies and rewards that it intends to give away to its player base.
"Genshin Impact" Free Primogems
Chinese gaming studio miHoYo recently announced that it would give away a total of 800 Primogems for free in the coming days. The giveaway is a part of the studio's celebration for the multiple awards the game received over the past days. One of the primary use of Primogems in the game is in making Wishes, which is used in pulling characters and weapons in the gacha banners.
According to miHoYo, giving away free Primogems runs from Dec. 3 until Dec 6. The gaming studio also announced that it bagged several recognitions from the prestigious Google Play Awards. This includes Best Game of 2020, Users' Choice, and Best Innovative Games in several countries. "Genshin Impact" was also adjudged as the Apple App Store Game of the Year Award.

Free Wishes in "Genshin Impact"
During the recent "Genshin Impact" Developers Discussion, miHoYo confirmed a list of upcoming quality of life adjustments arriving in Version 1.2 of the game. While there are lots of other improvements coming to the game, the more interesting part is the addition of Ascension Rewards. At present, players have to spend on Ascension Materials to increase Max level Cap.
However, the latest announcement from miHoYo confirmed that players will now receive a reward upon Ascension. It will only be given for Character Ascension, however. It means that when "Genshin Impact" version 1.2 rolls out, players get a special reward of one Acquaint Fate each time they reach Level 20, Level 50 or Level 70 and undergo Ascension.
What makes this more interesting is that it could be applied retroactively. In other words, "Genshin Impact" players who have Ascended their characters can claim these free Acquaint Fates. They just need to visit the particular Ascension Materials Preview screen of the character and claim the Acquaint Fate as a rank bonus.
Characters in "GEnshin Impact" can Ascend three times based on the game's current frameworks. This means players would need three free Acquaint Fates for each character. It is worth noting that Acquaint Fates are used for Wishes on the in-game banner. In other words, this new quality of life improvement coming to the game is also a free Wish every time a character Ascends.
"Genshin Impact" is available now on various gaming platforms. This includes PC, iOS and Android devices and PS4. The game can be played on PS5 through backward compatibility. It is also in development for PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
