miHoyo released the first major update of "Genshin Impact" last month, but it appears that some insiders already have an interesting set of details on the content of Update 1.2. Aside from new characters, the leak revealed the next in-game event and its rewards. Based on the leak, it looks like players would soon enjoy a special kind of sword and another Crown of Sagehood.

New "Genshin Impact" Event

The latest information about Update 1.2 of "Genshin Impact" was leaked online by insider NEP NEP. According to the tipster, an unnamed event in the game would feature a new special sword and exciting rewards, including the Crown of Sagehood. The said event would allegedly feature a resource called Glimmering Tinctures, says NEP NEP.

It is said that these are red materials that players could use in the in-game's Event Shop to purchase rewards like talent Ascension books and the Crown of Sagehood. On the first day of this alleged unnamed "Genshin Impact" event, players would reportedly receive a special sword. Additionally, they would also get the 800 free celebratory Primogems.

New "Genshin Impact" Free Sword

The new sword would be reportedly called Festering Fang and would be allegedly perfect when used with the rumored Geo character's Albedo Elemental Skill. At its base form, the sword allegedly features a significant passive ability that increases Elemental attacks by 16% and CRIT rate by 4%. It is worth noting that the term Elemental attack is the tipster's interpretation. It may refer to Elemental Skills or Elemental DMG.

The tipster also mentioned that the Festering Fand could only be improved through Enhancement and Refinement. This could mean that the free sword could be "Genshin Impact's" new powerful weapon. The leaker shared images which some contains phrases like Refine the Festering Fang.

Other Details

The tipster also mentioned about special meals of Albedo and Ganyu. He shared a photo showing Ganyu's specialty, which is called Prosperous Peace and Albedo's specialty called Woodland Dream. There are also rumors that a new food-related event is coming to the game sooner than the unnamed event that features the Festering Fang sword.

While these details are exciting, it is worth noting that these are unofficial. Players should temper their expectations and take this information with a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, "Genahin Impact" is now available. Gamers can enjoy the gacha game on PC, PS4, iOS and Android devices.
