BTS V teased that he is excited to release his solo mixtape during a recent behind the scenes interview for "Life Goes On."

According to a report by All Kpop, V's statement made fans hope that KTH1, the code which stands for Kim Taehyung's first solo mixtape, will be released very soon.

After fans watched the video clip, they surmised from V and RM's words that the album has already been completed and is only waiting for release.

ARMYs pointed out that when V said he wanted to release his solo mixtape soon, RM also said that he was excited for it to come out soon too.

With only a few weeks left before the end of the year, fans are speculating that Big Hit might be saving the release of V's mixtape for his birthday on December 30th.

It can be recalled that when V announced that he was working on solo material, he also said that he wanted the album to come out before the end of the year.

However, for now, this remains to be wishful thinking because Big Hit has yet to announce an official date for the album's release.

"Blue and Grey," one of the tracks from BTS's recent album BE, was written and produced by V. The song was supposed to be included in his solo mixtape, but BTS members requested for it to be used on the group's album. Fans were impressed with the song and became even more excited for KTH1 because of it.

V is known as a talented singer and songwriter. This year, he composed, produced, and performed the song "Sweet Night" for the OST of Itaewon Class to support his good friend Park Seo Joon, the lead actor for the drama.

As a result, the song topped the iTunes chart in 117 countries, giving V the rare honor of being the only Asian solo act in history to achieve the milestone. Another solo entry from Map of the Soul: 7 entitled "Inner Child" also topped iTunes in 89 countries, making V the only Asian soloist to have two songs to reach the top of the iTunes chart in 89 countries.

Meanwhile, as fans anticipate V's latest record-breaking feat, they are busy preparing for his birthday on December 30th.

According to a report by Koreaboo, V will be the first and only Kpop idol to have an ad on TIME Magazine to celebrate his special day. China's Baidu VBar commissioned the ad to come out on December 21st in time for TIME's issue featuring the 100 Most Influential Persons of the Year.

It can be recalled that, as early as August, fans already raised 1.2 billion won in support of activities for V's birthday. The fundraising efforts reportedly yielded 1 million yuan within its first minute and managed to generate 6 million yuan in 59 days and 14 minutes, Somag reported.
