Are Red Velvet members dropping hints for their comeback? Reveluvs believe so.

According to a report by All Kpop, Red Velvet's recent online activities seem to indicate that they are preparing for their comeback already.

Some fans even found clues from posts of fellow SM Entertainment artists like Taeyeon. According to eagle-eyed supporters, some elements identified with Red Velvet were spotted in Taeyeon's comeback teasers, such as framed photos of a nighttime theme park and a photograph with a field of daisies.

Fans also did not miss a meaningful gift that Joy received from her Handsome Tigers PD. In the note, the PD reminded her to always dress warmly and wished her luck in preparing for her comeback.

Seulgi also posted a hint on her Instagram update where she debuted a new hairstyle. Fans believe this could be a teaser of her new look for the comeback.

Another clue came from a staff member who regularly worked with Red Velvet. According to the staff, they were doing their first outdoor shoot in a while.

It can be recalled that during an event SM Entertainment CEO Lee Sung Soo confirmed that Red Velvet will make a comeback soon.

The statement came amid a slew of negative criticism aimed at the group's leader Irene after her rude behavior towards staff was exposed by a photoshoot editor.

After laying low for several months, SM's confirmation of a group comeback seemed like an indication that the agency was ready to leave the issue behind and move forward with a new project for the five-member girl group.

It can be recalled that Red Velvet's last full comeback was in December 2019 for "Psycho," the title track for The ReVe Finale album.

Unfortunately, just as the group was starting promotions for their comeback, Wendy suffered a severe accident during the rehearsals of SBS' Gayo Daejeon, causing her to remain in the hospital and receive treatment and rehabilitation for the better part of 2020.

Four of the members continued promoting the album while Red Velvet's first subunit, Red Velvet Irene & Seulgi, debuted in July.

Red Velvet members reunited for their cover of BoA's "Milky Way" to celebrate 20 years since the singer's debut last August. Wendy was reportedly set to rejoin group activities before irene's controversy came out and halted immediate plans for a comeback.
