Fans and followers continue to praise Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for their happy relationship as a couple and parents to their three children. Through the years, the public has witnessed how the pair would always troll and poke fun at each other on various social media platforms.
As this dynamic goes, tabloids and magazines also plagued them with rumors and allegations. Gossip Cop covered one of the latest headlines about them, with OK! magazine claiming that they will make a pregnancy announcement come the new year.
Sources alleged that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are "thrilled" to welcome and have their fourth baby next year. Apart from the Deadpool actor previously stating that he loves "being a girl dad," the unnamed tipster asserted that the Gossip Girl actress "loves being pregnant."
The magazine continued that the couple has already started with their pregnancy plans. They are, reportedly, "pulling out all the stops to make it happen."
Gossip Cop quickly analyzed the report to learn whether the claims are true. But, based on the discovery, the whole narrative is far from the truth.
As pointed out, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, indeed, stated these things in their respective interviews. However, they spoke of it in 2016 and 2014, respectively.
Then, the reputed publication argued that the magazine appears to have used the couple's comments and framed them as their sources' assertions. Moreover, the Green Lantern actor revealed that his family is in a "pretty good size" right now. He spoke of it earlier this year when Entertainment Tonight's Mack Cohen asked him of wanting a bigger family.
Hence, Gossip Cop has since determined that the reports about Reynolds and Lively's fourth pregnancy announcement in 2021 are "totally false."
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively first met on the set of Green Lantern, where the former played the titular role, in 2010. At that time, though, they were both committed to their respective relationships with Scarlett Johansson and Penn Badgley, according to Insider.
Months after, they both separated from their then-partners and continued with their careers. During the summer of 2011, reports said that Lively was dating Leonardo DiCaprio. However, the link did not last long as they allegedly broke up at the end of the same season.
Later that year, Reynolds and Lively started to date each other. They consequently tied the knot in 2012 and has continued with their lives as a married couple, alongside their three daughters.
