Prince Charles was in a great mood when he visited the staff workers at the delivery office of the Royal Mail in Cirencester, and he could not stop laughing after his encounter with "Santa Claus."

The Prince of Wales was photographed chatting with the postal worker in the Santa Claus costume. Prince Charles was wearing his trademark turquoise mask but he could be seen erupting in laughter as he engaged in a conversation with the staff.

Prince Charles also looked at the packages, cards, and letters that needed to be sorted out and delivered before Christmas Day. The staff told the royal that there had been delays because there's always an exceptionally higher volume of parcels during the holidays.

They also said that the COVID-19 and social distancing restrictions have added to the delays. As more people are opting to shop online, the Royal Mail is expecting more than 200 million deliveries this year.

A few days ago, Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, were at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to witness the first rollout of the facility's vaccination program. The Prince of Wales told one of the nurses that he'll need to wait for his turn since he's not on the priority list due to his age.

Prince Charles said that he might receive the AstraZeneca vaccine when it's his turn to get the inoculation. The heir to the throne said that he could still be protected while waiting for his jab since he developed COVID-19 anti-bodies when he contracted the virus in March.

Meanwhile, to go with the spirit of the holidays, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall released their most colorful Christmas card photo, which was taken at their Scotland home in Birkhall. Unfortunately, the couple will not be visiting their home in the Highlands for the holidays to comply with the travel restrictions.

Prince Charles and Camilla will be spending Christmas Day at their countryside estate in Highgrove. However, it is understood that Camilla will be joining her adult children, Tom and Laura, while Prince Charles could visit Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip for a quiet celebration.

The monarch and the Duke of Edinburgh are isolating for the holidays at Windsor Castle. It's the first time in 33 years that Prince Charles and the rest of the royal family have ditched grand and traditional Christmas celebrations because of the pandemic.
