Among the weapons introduced in "Genshin Impact" update 1.2 is the Dragonspine Spear that players could obtain by completing The Festering Fang world quest. However, before players could obtain this new polearm, they have to collect several items first. Here are some tips and tricks on how to get one of the items in The Festering Fang quest in "Genshin Impact."

What is The Festering Fang Quest in "Gemshin Impact"

The Festering Fang is a new world quest introduced in the game via update 1.2. This quest entails players to collect several items at the behest of the NPC named Orban. These items are one Northlander Polearm Prototype, 50 Starsilver Ore, and three Strange Teeth.

The Festering Fang quest starts by giving Orban a Strange Tooth. Overall, "Genshin Impact" players need to collect four StrangeTooth to start and complete the quest. Players can find all the Strange Tooth over the new unlocked region in the game called Dragonspine.

Where To Find The Strange Tooth in "Genshin Impact"

The four Strange Tooth required to begin the Festering Fang quest are found in strange locations in Dragonspine. Players can find one of these in the north on the very edge of the region. It is on the small island guarded by a couple of Abyss Mages.

The other Strange Tooth is near the ribcage inside the heart cavern where players go to revitalize their health. Another Strange Tooth is by a massive jawbone north of a waypoint in the northwest. This is guarded by a Fatui. Apart from those locations, players could also find another Strange Tooth on the coast, on the far southeast of the map near the waypoint.

Collecting all four Strange Tooth is not the only item that "Genshin Impact" requires for completing The Festering Fang quest. Players also need to get the Northlander Polearm Prototype. The quest also entails players to gather a good amount of Starsilver Ore.

Dragonspine Spear

Players able to complete all the required items in The Festering Fang quest will get the Dragonspine Spear. It is a new four-star weapon in the game forged from the fang of a dragon and is strangely warm to touch.

The weapon's special passive ability is described as "Hitting an enemy with a normal or charged attack has a 60% chance of dropping an icicle on them which deals 80% AoE attack damage. Enemies affected by Cryo are dealt 200% attack damage. The effect can only occur once every 10 seconds."
