Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won are teaming up for the Korean adaptation of the British series Criminal Justice.

According to Soompi, it was confirmed that the two talented actors have signed on to join the cast of the Korean remake which will be entitledThat Night.

The drama revolves around two main characters who get embroiled in a murder case. Kim Soo Hyun will play the role of Kim Hyun Soo, a college student who gets accused as the prime suspect in the case. Cha Seung Won will play the role of Shin Joong Han, the only lawyer who agrees to take Hyun Soo's case.

Criminal Justice aired on BBC in 2008 and starred Ben Whishaw and Vaneeta Rishi. The series received two British Academy for Television awards Best Drama and Best Serial Writer. It also bagged an International Emmy in 2009.

HBO also did a remake of the series entitled The Night Of, which starred Joh Turturro and Riz Ahmed.

It can be recalled that Kim Soo Hyun was also reviewing an offer for the Netflix original series Finger one day before he confirmed his participation in That Night.

According to his agency Gold Medalist Entertainment, Kim Soo Hyun opted to refuse Netflix's offer to play the lead role in their suspense thriller. The actor received the offer way back in November, along with several other potential projects.

Kim Soo Hyun's last project was It's Okay Not To Be Okay, a drama that centered around mental health. While many controversies were thrown at the drama for its depiction of mental illness, it was well-received by the international audience and became one of the most-watched Korean dramas on Netflix last year.
