Fans are now looking forward to the coming of Jujutsu Kaisen Cour 2. With the hype surrounding the series' second part, viewers can't help but get more excited to see the continuation of Yuji and the rest of the cast's story.

The anime has dropped Jujutsu Kaisen Cour 2's official trailer that gives a glimpse of the next storyline, the Kyoto Goodwill Event arc. Aside from the epic fights that fans will soon see, it also unveils the newly-added cast members and opening theme.

A new beginning also means a new song for the series, titled "Vivid Vice," by Who-ya Extended. According to Comicbook, the franchise's official Twitter account has earlier revealed the first details for its new soundtracks.

Of course, it will also have a new ending theme, called "Give It Back," by Co shu Nie. These two songs will be out when the second cour begins this month, just in time for the Winter 2021 anime season.

Elsewhere, the trailer also shows the chaotic battles Yuji and other Jujutsu Tech members have to face in Jujutsu Kaisen Cour 2. Epic Dope noted Yuji is now being considered a threat after swallowing Sukuna's fingers.

In addition to the intense battles that are about to ensue, there is a plan to end Yuji's life. There will be several matches happening here, from group to solo competitions.

The students from Tokyo and Kyoto school will be in an epic fight that fans now want to know who will win between the two. Also, as Yuji called Aio "best friend," they may go against each other with no restrictions.

Meanwhile, director Sunghoo Park teased what would come in Jujutsu Kaisen Cour 2. In an interview with CB's Megan Peters, he talked about the rest of the season, although he evidently tried his best not to give away too much about the story.

Anyhow, Park couldn't help himself but also be excited for the anime's continuation, just like every fan. He, too, is looking forward to seeing the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School's freshmen students continuing their epic journey.

Park admitted he couldn't talk much about the upcoming storyline, but he teased there would be a lot of battles that fans should be ready for. It is the director and everyone behind the scenes' goal to perfectly capture the charm of the manga series written by Gege Akutami himself.

He knew the beauty of this story lies in each of the characters and their own tales, calling it "such a wonderful work." Park then revealed it is their job to "incorporate everything about it" into an anime that everybody loves now.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cour 2 will begin airing on Friday, January 15.
