Dr. Stone Season 2 is about to begin after a year of waiting. As one of the best performing animes in Shonen Jump, fans are surely looking forward to seeing Senku Ishigami on the small screen once again.

Dr. Stone Season 2 will officially bear the title Stone Wars, hinting at a new intense battle coming. As Senku will continuously show how science can change the world, it will never go by without anyone hindering his good plans.

According to Anime Troop, its official trailer gives a glimpse into the impending war between the Kingdom of Science and the Tsukasa Empire. This only shows that Senku has move "advance plan" this time compared before.

As the story continues, there may also be an introduction of a new weapon and karate practice to help its people fight in combat style. It has been known that the series focuses less on direct combat, so it may take the spotlight this time in Dr. Stone Season 2.

The first season mostly centered on how science could progress from almost nothing. It shows how the invention could be remade and "build off each other" to create "more complex ideas" that no one had seen before, Crunchyroll noted.

However, Senku has yet to hold all the important revival formula, as Tsukasa still oversees it. This is the key for the protagonist to revive the world fully.

From here, a battle is about to take place in Dr. Stone Season 2 to see who can control this formula. In no time, fans will again see Senku and the rest of his friends trying their best to rebuild the civilization and establish the Kingdom of Science.

The second season will premiere on Thursday, January 14, for Crunchyroll and Funimation premium users. On the other hand, free users have to wait for another week to see the premiere episode, per HITC.

However, neither of these two networks has revealed Dr. Stone Season 2 Episode 1's release time, though there are predictions it will drop at 10:30 p.m. in Japan. If Crunchyroll and Funimation follow suit, the international fans will see it at 5:30 a.m. Pacific Time, 7:30 a.m. Central Time, 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time, 1:30 p.m. British Time, 2:30 p.m. European Time, 10:30 p.m. Korea Time, and midnight Australia Time.

Anyhow, there is a big possibility the premiere episode will be out a few hours after its national release.
