The trailer for Song Joong Ki's comeback drama Vincenzo was recently released by tvN.

According to a report by All Kpop, Song Joong Ki will play a unique role in his new project. In Vincenzo, he will play the role of a former mafia adviser.

In the upcoming drama, Song Joong Ki will play the titular role of Vincenzo Cassano, a Korean-Italian consigliere who is on the run from the criminal organization after he spent years working for the mafia. He returns to Korea and teams up with a veteran lawyer who uses rogue tactics to take down illegal organizations.

In the teaser trailer, Song Joong Ki holds the scale of justice and a gun in each hand. He introduces himself and warns that he will not negotiate because he is the judge.

The cast of Vincenzo recently came together for the first script reading. Among the confirmed cast members include 2PM's OK Taecyeon, Yoo Jae Myung, Kwak Dong Yeon, Kim Teo Jin, and Jo Han Chul.

Taecyeon will play the role of Jang Joon Woo, a legal intern who wants to become like a James Bond character because of his cool looks and demeanor. However, his clumsiness prevents him from achieving his goal.

Jeon Yeo Bin will play the role of lawyer Hong Cha Young, a sharp-tongued lawyer who looks at things by considering advantages and disadvantages instead of right and wrong. However, his single-minded drive is instrumental in winning essential cases, Soompi reported.

Vincenzo is Song Joong Ki's first drama after completing two seasons of the fantasy series Arthdal Chronicles in 2019. He completed the sci-fi film Space Sweepers last year which will premiere on Netflix on February 5.

Song Joong Ki will also star in the action film Bogota. The film centers around a man who emigrated to Colombia to settle in a traditional market in Bogota in the 1990s.

Unfortunately, production was halted because of a spike in COVID-19 cases in Colombia. Bogota reportedly completed 45 percent of the filming in 2020.

The production team assured that they are not cancelling the movie. They explained that they are only postpoining the filming to ensure the safety of the cast and crew. It is expected that filming will pick up this year under better conditions, Koreaboo reported.
