Blue Bloods season 11 episode 5 is finally arriving this weekend following a one-week hiatus. A lot of storylines will be featured here, which includes Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Baez's (Marisa Ramirez). They're going to work together and take on a tricky case.
In some preview photos from Blue Bloods season 11 episode 5, Danny and Baez can be seen together out in the field. They were set to investigate a case, but they eventually find themselves in the middle of a "fierce sibling rivalry" between two brothers.
Danny and Baez investigate the murder of the brothers' father, but things get complicated due to the feud. It looks like the two are pointing fingers at each other, and might be battling over estate properties. This is going to be a tough case for the two detectives.
Aside from dealing with the case, Danny also needs to do his part as a father in Blue Bloods season 11 episode 5. His son, Sean (Andrew Terraciano), is being harassed at his school because of the Reagans' status as "super-cops." This is a crisis that Wahlberg's character needed to handle.
Eddie Janko-Reagan (Vanessa Ray) will also have her owns storyline that is not directly linked to her husband, Jamie Reagan (Will Estes). As the synopsis notes, she and her partner, Officer Rachel Witten (Lauren Patten), were praised for stopping an active shooter.
However, their act of bravery was questioned when a civilian comes forward. This person accused the two of faking the incident and that they did it as a part of a government conspiracy. Thus, many people may doubt their heroic move.
Meanwhile, Blue Bloods season 11 episode 5 is titled "Spilling Secret," which could be a reference to Henry Reagan (Len Cariou). It was revealed that Frank Reagan's (Tom Selleck) father is hiding a secret from the family for a long time already.
Henry has been sending money to someone, and it is unknown who this person could be. Frank asked him about this matter, but he only told his son to back off. There's going to be tension between them during the family dinner, and Frank's children will be involved.
It's yet to be seen why Henry is doing this, though some speculated that he's either helping someone or he was scammed and needs to pay his debts. Considering the episode title, some of Henry's secrets will be spilled, and his relationship with the person will be revealed, as well.
