Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) is going to be facing a lot of troubles entering Blue Bloods season 11 episode 3. He seemingly made a mistake, causing him to feel guilty. The situation is rooted in a case he didn't pay attention to, which eventually becomes a huge problem for him.
In one of the latest sneak peek of Blue Bloods season 11 episode 3, Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) asked his younger brother about a case involving a young woman. The latter claimed that her grandfather fell down the stairs and someone pushed him.
When they questioned how she knew about this, the young woman said God told her what happened. It turns out that her grandfather was actually dead, and she even brought evidence to prove her claim. This is where Jamie's problem begins.
He had the opportunity to investigate further, yet he chose not to do it because he thought the young woman's claim was outlandish. He felt guilty, but Danny told him that no one is perfect and he may cause more problems if he dwells on it.
Aside from this, it looks like Jamie is being under investigation in Blue Bloods season 11 episode 3. Danny seems to be shocked by this, noting that why would someone do that knowing that his brother is a "saint." Yet, there is a possibility that this is tied to the case.
Perhaps, Jamie is being investigated since he could've prevented the situation if he looked more into it. The situation might potentially impact him moving forward. He'll likely be more careful in taking on cases and will view them as always important.
As for what else is coming in Blue Bloods season 11 episode 3, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) has to deal with the fact that the secret about Joe Hill (Will Hochman) is out. The majority at the department learned that the latter has Reagan blood.
It was revealed that Joe was the son of Paula Hill (Bonnie Sommerville) and Joe Reagan Sr., who died even before the show's story begins. Now that the secret is out, the younger Joe has to deal with the changes in his life.
Some people at the department might attack him for keeping this secret, while others might treat him differently now. In the event that he gets a promotion, they're going to question it -- especially whether or not he really deserves it.
