With the start of a new year, devs behind "Call of DutyMobile" reset the season counter to one and introduced the first season under the theme New Order. The new season introduced lots of new content, features, a new battle royale class, and a couple of new weapons to the game. But while the new update is exciting, players are already looking forward to the game's Season Two.
"Call of Duty Mobile" Season 2 Potential Start Date
Based on the official countdown, New Order has a 43-day timer, which means that the latest season is scheduled to end at 6 p.m. CT on Mar. 10. Compared to the game's previous seasons, this one is noticeably a little bit longer. However, players could expect that the same rollover will be used. "Call of Duty Mobile" Season 2 will most likely go live in Mar. 11, based on the game's release pattern and assuming that there will be no delays.
"Call of Duty Mobile" Season 2 Theme
The latest season of the hit mobile shooter title centers on jumping forward in time with hackers setting the tone. While nothing is said yet about the game's second season, it is safe to say that it would be a departure from the 'jumping' theme of New Order. Over the past months, players have seen major encounters from various factions, a Western theme and around covert operations. There is no limit on what the incoming season would be about, but it could be another fantastic one.
"Call of Duty Mobile" Season 2 Content
Devs behind "Call of Duty Mobile" have not yet said anything about the content of Season 2. However, if the latest leak about the game is anything to go by, it appears that they are preparing a new map for the incoming season. There is a great chance that a mobile version of the "Modern Warfare" is in the cards.
The leak came from several testers who spotted the alleged Shoot House map in the game's Chinese server. While it is currently being tested to quash bugs and for polishing, it is safe to presume that devs would roll it out in "Call of Duty Mobile" Season 2. Beyond that, players should expect a new set of weapons, modes and most likely season-themed cosmetics to be introduced to the game in the incoming season.
"Call of Duty Mobile" New Order Content
Meanwhile, New Order is now live in the game. It introduced a new map called Reclaim, which is exclusive to the mobile title. Itis a medium-sized map set in an abandoned city. There is also the new battle royale class and a new battle royale mode called Blitz. Players can also get their hands on the FR.556 rifle and the Gravity Vortex Gun this season.
