"Genshin Impact" is just a few months old, but miHoYo has relentlessly released new playable characters in the game every now and then. At present, there are already 28 playable characters in the hit gacha game. However, with lots of varying weapons, talents, elementals, constellations, and ascension bonuses, picking the best characters to ensure a win could be tough.
Best "Genshin Impact" Characters Players Should Pick
Ganyu is a powerful character and the first in the game to rival the base attack power of Diluc. The recently launched five-star character has a distinct ability to shoot various types of Cryo arrows using her charged attack. This includes the one with AOE or area of effect damage. Along with her elemental abilities, Ganyu can relentlessly harm and freeze opponents.
Another best pick is Keqing considering her stats and her ranks. She is a sword wielder that has the best in almost all categories. This includes HP, defense, and attack power. She is not only an amazing melee fighter but also a strong character with impressive Electro abilities. Keqing has the ability to use her elemental skill to teleport across the field.
Aside from Ganyu and Keqing, players can also pick Diluc. His shield-wrecking Claymore features the highest base attack power and high critical rate. He can deal with devastating Pyro damage with his elemental abilities. Apart from Diluc, another best pick would be Venti. He is one of the best elemental supports in "Genshin Impact."
Venti can utilize his elemental skill to launch himself or enemies into the air. His elemental burst called the Stormeye can draw nearby enemies and absorb Cryo, Pyro, electro, and Hyrdo elements.

"Genshin Impact" Characters Players Should Avoid
While there are best characters that could help win the game, there are characters in the game that players should not pick mainly because they are hard to handle, one of them is Amber. Aside from the very long cooldown of her elemental skill, it has a very low damage output nad also scales with her HP. it takes a long time to trigger the explosion, and her normal attack and elemental burst are nothing really special.
Another character that is hard to handle is Beidou because of her complicated build. Unlike other claymore characters who have higher base damage output, her elemental abilities only become powerful when at constellation level four. Ningguang is another "Genshin Impact" character with a difficult ability to use. This catalyst character has a unique shield ability that could affect the battlefield, but most of her abilities are mostly unnecessary.
