The intense turn of events continues in Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 9, titled "Brave Volunteers." After Levi captured Eren, will it ignite a massive personality change for the Founding Titan holder?

The anime is now closely following the manga's story as both series are about to end. Hence, Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 9 will feature the conflict between Paradis Island and Marley.

Fans expect to see the content of Eren's letters after he told Levi that everything in it is true, Recent Highlights noted. The upcoming chapter will continuously focus on the Survey Corps' former member's storyline and feature Zeke's loyalty to Eren and his group.

As they seem to be planning something, can they fully trust Marley's Warrior Unit's former Captain? However, if Zeke indeed intends to be on his brother's side, things may not go smoothly, knowing Levi is just around.

Elsewhere, Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 9 will also feature how the Survey Corps has managed to secure airships and other vessels. Knowing Marley is an underdeveloped nation, it is quite impossible that it can produce these things. Now, the big question is, is Zeke behind the development of these crafts?

Meanwhile, with another death in the group, Jean and other Survey Corps members blame Eren for Sasha's demise. Eren has lost a lot of friends as the war continues. Now, some wonder if he still does feel sorry about these deaths or already numb about it.

In Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8, Gabi chased Eren with a rifle in hand and wanted to kill him with Falco in tow. Levi then showed Eren his real self after he kicked him inside the airship, OtakuKart News cited.

Mikasa wanted to stop Levi, but the crew restrained her. Levi seemed to mock Eren when he said that moment brought him to when the latter used to be a "great punching back."

Levi then told Eren he would be restrained, and they would later talk, to which the latter said it was fine with him. He also revealed he had written a letter that contained everything.

As the soldiers started shooting the airship, the demons knew they had to escape very quickly. Despite their hurry, they celebrated inside the craft after the Eldian Empire won its first war.

Sadly, six nobles died to achieve the victory, making Jean realized how many more lives they had to sacrifice to win. Also, as this was just the first fight, it was still far from over.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 9 is set to be out on Sunday, February 7, per Omnitos. It can be seen on Funimation and Crunchyroll.
